Will of Richard Ryan In re This is the last will and testament
of me, Richard Ryan, at present of St. John’s, in the
Island of Newfoundland, Gentleman, made this twenty-fifth day of July, Anno
Domini one thousand nine hundred and eight. 1. I appoint Sir
Edward P. Morris, of St. John’s, King’s Council, executor
of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other and former wills
that may have been made by me. 2. I give, devise and bequeath
to my wife, Ellan Ryan, and my son, Jeremiah Ryan,
the upstairs tenement of the house in which I now reside; I give devise
and bequeath unto my son John Ryan the down-stairs tenement
of the house in which I now reside To have and TO HOLD the said tenements unto
my said wife and sons for ever. 3. All the moneys of which
I shall die possessed I give, devise and bequeath to my executor, with instructions
to pay out of the same the sum of forty dollars per year towards the maintenance
and support of my wife and children. In testimony
whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand, at St. John’s aforesaid,
the day and year first above written. Richard
