from Newfoundland will books volume 12 page 437 probate year 1923

In re

I, Elizabeth Rowe of St. John's, Newfoundland, do hereby make this my last will and testament as follows.
1. I give and bequeath to James Rowe of Heart's Content all the property situated at Heart's Content and belonging to me, together with all the rights and privileges pertaining thereto.
II. The remainder of my estate and personal effects of which I may die possessed I give and bequeath absolutely to the Rev. Jacob Brinton of St. John's Newfoundland.

I hereby appoint the Rev. Jacob Brinton my executor.
Dated this 20th day of April, 1922.     ELIZABETH her X mark ROWE.

Signed by the testatrix in the presence of us, both present at the same time who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as witnesses.
