from Newfoundland will books volume 13 pages 241-242 probate year 1925

In re
      ALICE ROTHWELL.     DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Alice Rothwell of Brigstock in the County of Northampton Spinster I hereby revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions made by me and declare this to be my last Will and Testament I appoint Martin Gerald Woodley Hunnybun of Thrapston in the said County Solicitor sole Executor and Trustee of this my will I desire that my Dog Rex shall be put to his last sleep in the most humane manner possible I bequeath all my shares of what ever kind in Lever Brothers Limited to Noel Martin of Princes Road in the City of Liverpool
I bequeath my seed Pearls to Joyce Rosemary Hunnybun daughter of the said Martin Gerald Woodley Hunnybun
I bequeath my long gold chain and Purse to Helen Anderson
I bequeath the rest of my jewellery to June Farrell I bequeath all my furniture and effects in store at Colchester at Whiteleys London and the Manor House at Brigstock aforesaid to Margaret Tanner of Chatari Langham Colchester aforesaid
I bequeath all my personal belonging clothes furs toilet silver and other personal effects not in store to Marion Hobbes of Bidford on Avon in the County of Warwick
I appoint all my share and interest in the Rennie and Rothwell estates or settlements to my Sister Edith Mary Haygarth for the term of her life and from and after her decease I appoint the same to the said June Farrell

I devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal unto my sister the said Edith Mary Haygarth absolutely I declare that the said Martin Gerald Woodley Hunnybun shall notwithstanding his acceptance of the Office of Executor and Trustee of this my Will be entitled to make such charges for work done by him as a Solicitor as he would have been entitled to make if he had not been an Executor or Trustee of this my Will but employed by my Trustees and Executors as their Solicitor In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 8th day of November One thousand nine hundred and twenty four.

Signed by the said Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us both being present at the same time who at her request and in her sight and presence and in the sight and presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as attesting witnesses.
