Will of John Rorke Sr. from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 406 probate year 1929

In re       DECEASED.
      JOHN RORKE SR.

This is the last will and testament of me John Rorke of Carbonear merchant. I revoke all wills heretofore by me made. I give devise and bequeath everything of which I shall die possessed of whatsoever kind or description whether real or personal to my brother James Rorke absolutely should he survive me and in the event of his predeceasing me I give devise and bequeath the said property above described to the legal representatives of the estate of my brother James Rorke to be divided by them in accordance with the terms of any will my said brother James shall have made as if the said property hereby bequeathed had been received by my said brother James Rorke in his lifetime. Should the said James Rorke die predecease me intestate I give devise and bequeath the said property above described to the legal representatives of the estate of the said James Rorke to be divided by them between John Rorke Junior and James Rorke Junior sons of the said James Rorke equally share and share alike.
I appoint the said James Rorke executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my hand at Carbonear this 25th day of April 1914.

Signed published and declared by the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
