Will of William Thomas Rogers
from Newfoundland will books volume 10 pages 287-288 probate year 1914

In re
      WILLIAM THOMAS ROGERS       deceased.

      I WILLIAM Thomas Rogers of Catalina in the District of Trinity in the Island of Newfoundland hereby revoke all my former wills and testamentary dispositions by me at any time made and declare this to be my last will and testament.    I hereby appoint my brother-in-law the Reverend J. T. Hiscock to be my sole executor and trustee of this my will    I will and bequeath to my daughter Emma Louise one bed bedding and one looking glass    I will and bequeath to my three daughters Adela Mary, Muriel Frederica, and Ada Augusta all my ready cash, and money on deposit in the Bank of Nova Scotia, Bonavista and five shares in the F.P.U. Trading Co. as well as my household furniture and effects and personal clothing to be divided among them at such times and in such manner as my executor and trustee shall deem it wise in his discretion    I will and bequeath to my said executor and trustee my house, store, stage, flake and the remainder of my real and personal property both in Catalina and Hearts Content or wheresoever situate, in trust for the benefit of my five children, Alfreda Carter, Emma Louise, Adela Mary, Muriel Fredrica, and Ada Augusta, to be sold or otherwise disposed of and the proceeds divided equally between the five    In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this twenty seventh day of October in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and fourteen    William Thomas Rogers.     Signed by the testator as and for his last will and testament in the present of both being present at the same time, who in his presence and the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses John J. White.    John T. Walsh.
