Will of Edward Patrick Roche The Palace Last Will and Testament of Edward Patrick Roche, Archbishop of St John's This is the last Will and Testament of me, Edward Patrick Roche, Archbishop of St. John's, Newfoundland and I revoke all former Wills by me made. I appoint the Right Reverend J.J. Rawlins, Vicar General, and Right Reverend R. McD. Murphy, Pastor of St. Patrick's, both of St. John's, aforesaid, executors of this my Last Will. I direct my executors to pay all debts, if any, due by me at the time of my death, and all expenses, funeral, testamentary or otherwise, from my personal account - number 2284 - at the Royal Bank of Canada, Main Branch, St. John's. My house on King's Road - Number 97 - which is my personal property, I leave to the Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation of St. John's, on condition that the net annual rental be applied for Low Masses for my intention. The rest and residue of my estate of every kind and description and wheresoever situate, I give and bequeath to the Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation of St. John's. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed and set my hand at St. John's aforesaid this 23 day of August, 1949. Signed published and declared by the (Sgd.) Witness: Note: The subsequent Petition to the Supreme Court or the Honourable Judges thereof by Rt. Rev. John J. Rawlins and Rt. Rev. McD Murphy of St. John's sworn before Robert J.
