Last will and Testament of
Patience B. Roberts of Brigus
Spinster deceased

      In the name of God Amen. I Patience Bartlett Roberts of Brigus C.B. Nfld. Spinster (daughter of the late Moses Roberts Planter deceased) being of sound mind, memory and understanding declare this to be my last will and Testament. I give and bequeath to my brothers George and Moses Roberts all my monies invested in the Banks at St. John’s to be equally divided between each of the said brothers George and Moses Roberts. All the furniture in the house belonging to me consisting of sofa, chest of drawers, washstand, pictures, four sets of boles, two sets of blinds, vases and whatever other household effects I own, I give devise and bequeath to my two brothers George and Moses Roberts to be divided equally between the both of them.
My share in the dwelling house belonging to my fathers estate I give devise and bequeath to my brother Moses Roberts. All my right title and interest in land or property in Brigus belonging to my fathers estate I give devise and bequeath in equal parts to my two brothers George and Moses Roberts. My clothing or wearing apparel I give devise and bequeath to my sister Marion Bailey Percy now residing in Montreal Canada. My watch I give devise and bequeath to my brothers daughter Julia Parker Roberts now in Montreal Canada. I hereby appoint J. B. Thompson of Brigus aforesaid Executor to this my last will and Testament (sgd) Patience B. her X mark Roberts (LS) Signed by making her mark sealed published and declared by the said Testatrix in the presence of (sgd) John James Smith. (Sgd) Robert H. T. Wilcox at Brigus Nfld this 30th day of July 1898. <

      I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of Patience B. Roberts deceased.
