Will of Patience Bartlett Roberts Last will and Testament of In the name of God Amen. I Patience
Bartlett Roberts of Brigus C.B. Nfld. Spinster (daughter of the late
Moses Roberts Planter deceased) being of sound mind, memory and understanding
declare this to be my last will and Testament. I give and bequeath to
my brothers George and Moses Roberts all my monies invested in the Banks
at St. John’s to be equally divided between each of the said brothers
George and Moses Roberts. All the furniture in the house belonging to
me consisting of sofa, chest of drawers, washstand, pictures, four sets
of boles, two sets of blinds, vases and whatever other household effects
I own, I give devise and bequeath to my two brothers George and Moses
Roberts to be divided equally between the both of them. I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of Patience B. Roberts deceased. D. M. Browning (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
