Will of Noah Roberts Last Will and Testament of The last will and Testament of Noah Roberts of Brigus, Conception Bay in the Island of Newfoundland I Noah Roberts, being of good bodily health and of sound disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say:- I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Martha Roberts the dwelling house situated in Brigus in which I now reside that is the south end of the said house or part occupied by me and of which I am the true and lawful owner, together with the furniture, bedsteads, beds, bedding cooking utensils and articles to the said dwelling house belonging or thereunto appertaining. I also give unto my said wife that part of the kitchen garden occupied by me and attached to said house together with small garden with the well therein at the south end of the aforesaid dwelling house. The said house, or part of house, with the furniture, articles, utensils and the gardens as aforesaid to become the property of my said wife, Martha from and after the time of my decease and to and for her sole use and benefit during the term of her natural life and to be disposed of by her at the time of her decease in such manner as she may think or deem proper. I give and bequeath unto
my son Henry Roberts all the rest of the land, premises and property in Brigus
now in my ownership and possession or to which I shall be legally entitled
at the time of my decease, exclusive of the part already herein bequeathed
to my said wife or such as has been disposed of in any other way. The land
and property thus bequeathed to my said son Henry to include the stores, stables,
and all other erections thereon including also the land and premises with cooperage
thereon near the long bridge in Brigus aforesaid and also the waterside property
near, and to the south of the wharf and waterside property of Mr George
C. Jerrett, together with all my other freehold property whatsoever, to hold to
him the said Henry Roberts his heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby nominate
and appoint my son Henry Roberts of Brigus and George
G. Crosbie Sr. now of
St. John's to be the executors of this my last will and testament. In witness
whereof I have hereunto put my hand at Brigus this eighteenth day of November
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety three (A.D. 1893)

Roberts the
Testator in the presence of us and declared by him to be his last will and
Testament, and we at his request and in his presence and in presence of each
other sign our names as attesting witnesses hereto (sgd) Patk Jas.
