Last Will and Testament of Jane Roberts
of St. John's widow
This is the last will and testament of me Jane
Roberts of St. John's Widow. I give devise and
bequeath all my interest in the land and dwelling house occupied by me situate
in Gower Street in Saint John's and all other property goods moneys and estate
of every description of which I shall die possessed to Elizabeth I.
wife of William Winsborrow of St. John's Draper for her absolute use and benefit but
upon and subject to the condition that she shall maintain support and educate
my granddaughter Cora Roberts until she shall be able to support herself. I
appoint the said Elizabeth I Winsborrow sole executrix of this my will.
Dated at St. John's this eighteenth day of January A.D. 1886 - Jane
