Last will and Testament of
Catherine Renouf of Brooklyn, New York, U.SA
widow deceased
Last will and Testament. I Catherine
Renouf, widow of the late William Renouf of the City of New York, Borough
of Brooklyn and State of New York, formerly of St. John’s in the
Island of Newfoundland, do make publish and declare this to be my last
will and Testament in manner following.
First. I direct that
all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease
as may be practicable
Second. I give devise and bequeath all
my Estate both real and personal of every nature and kind whatsoever
and wheresoever situate, which I now own, or may be entitled to at the
time of my death unto my beloved children Katie, May and John to
be equally divided between them share and share alike.
Third I do hereby
nominate and appoint my friends Edwin Botwood and Thomas
P. Renouf, of
said City of New York Executors of this my last will and Testament and
also guardians of the person and estate of my said son John Renouf In
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day
of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety
eight. (Sgd) Catherine her mark Renouf (LS) Catherine

Sealed published and declared by the said testatrix Catherine
Renouf as and for her last will and Testament in the presence
of us, who at her request, and in her presence and in the presence of
each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
