Last Will and Testament of
George Reid late of St. John's
Laborer, deceased.

      The last will and Testament of me, George Reid, of St. John's, Newfoundland, being in my right mind, reasoning powers and senses; made on the sixteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two.
First I give and bequeath to my daughter Bertha Reid the sum of thirty five dollars.
To my son William Henry Reid, Twenty dollars.
To my eldest daughter, Fanny Sparks, sixteen dollars.
To my wife Emma Eunice Reid, and our two children, George Reid and Rosanna Reid, I give and bequeath all other moneys of which I die possessed, together with the entire possession of my house and such other properties and effects as I own to be administered by her for her own welfare and the welfare of the two last named children George and Rosanna Reid, as long as she remains unmarried. In the event of my wife being married agin or at her death the house shall become the property of my son, George Reid, absolutely
To all of which I sign my name at St. John's on this date, as above. George his x mark Reid - L.C.E.C. - Signed by the said George Reid, in the presence of us, present at the same time, who in his presence and in the presence of each other subscribe our names as witnesses - Levi Curtis. St. John's. Edna her x mark Clarke St. John's L.C.

      I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will of George Reid.
