Will of James Purcell from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 160 probate year 1887 Last will and Testament of Friday November 10th 1865. I James Purcell doth authorise my Executs very Rev. Edward O'Keefe and John Hearne both of Brigus by north to sell the property that is mortgage to me belonging to John Hearne of South Gut Conception Bay on or before the Twenty day of April next if the money is not paid before that time limited he must bare the expence of remitting the money to me before the document is giving up to him and not before and iff anything should happen me leaving the country you are to dispose of it as follows five pounds for Father O'Keefe for masses, five pounds to the Convent of Mercy of Brigus 20 £ to Richard Purcell 20 £ to Margaret Purcell.
