Last will and Testament of James
Prowse of St. John's Fisherman

In the name of God Amen I James Prowse of St. John's Fisherman of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and Testament in manner and form as follows: That its my last request that as soon as possible after my burial that all my lawful debts be paid And secondly that I bequeath unto my sister Susannah Holloway all my earthly possessions to keep as hers for ever to do as she likes with at my death consisting of dwelling house furniture lands and money or any other property that may fall to my name and I do appoint W. ??? Merchant and W. Richard Tucker Esq. as my executors and administrators. Given under my hand in St. John's Newfoundland this 9th day of February A.D. 1886 - James his x mark Prowse. Witness Joseph B. Snow - Mary Barnes.
