Last will and Testament of
Mary Power of St. John’s
This is the last will and Testament
of me Mary Power of St. John’s Newfoundland and
I revoke all former wills by me made.
1. I devise and bequeath to my
sister Marcella Finn that lot of land and all erections thereon situate
on the south side of Water street west in St. John’s aforesaid
the dwelling house thereon being now numbered thirty one
2. I give and
bequeath all other property and effects that I shall die possessed of
to my sisters Jane Hagie and Marcella Finn as
tenants in common.
3. I appoint my sister Marcella Finn to be Executrix
of this my will In witness whereof I have set my hand to this my will
this 29th day of April 1898. (Sgd) Mary her X mark
Power. Signed by the
above named Mary Power by making her mark (the above being first read
over and explained to her) as her last will and Testament in the presence
of us, both being present at the same time, who in her presence and in
the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

I certify the forgoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament
of Mary Power deceased
