from Newfoundland will books volume 13 pages 48-49 probate year 1924

In re
      CATHERINE POWER.     DECEASED.

WILL.

This is the last Will and Testament of me, Catherine Power, made by me on this the fourteenth day of October A.D. 1924.

I hereby revoke all former Wills made by me.

I bequeath the sum of Two Hundred Dollars to be expended by my Executor in Masses for the repose of the souls of my brother Robert Power and myself.

I bequeath to the Orphanages of Belvidere and Mount cashel the sum of Five Hundred Dollars each.

I bequeath to the Order of Mercy Nuns, Military Road, my dwelling house, NO. 128 Military Road.

I bequeath to my nieces residing at Boston, Misses Catherine and Mary Morrissey the sum of One Thousand Dollars each.

I bequeath the furniture in my parlor and Five Hundred Dollars to Mrs. Darcy of St. John’s.

I bequeath the sum of Five Hundred Dollars and the furniture in my front bed room to Mrs. E. Shea of St. John’s.

I bequeath the sum of Five Hundred Dollars to James Darcy.

I bequeath to Mrs. Terence Kennedy the furniture in my dining room.

I bequeath to Mrs. John Keough the remainder of the furniture in my house.

The residue of my estate I leave to my sister Mrs William Morrissey residing at Boston.

I appoint T. P. Halley of St. John’s, Solicitor, executor of this my will.

Signed, Published and Declared by the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in presence of us, who in her presence and in the presence of each other hereunto subscribe our names as witnesses.
