Will of Charles Pittman In re WILL Know all men by these presents:- That I Charles Pittman, of New Perlican, in the District of Trinity Bay, in the Dominion of Newfoundland - being of sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testiment revoking all former wills by me made at any time heretofore. First:- I commend my immortal soul to God who gave it, and my body to receive a christian burial. And as to my worldly goods, personal real or mixed, of which I shall die seized or possed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, I give bequeath and dispose of as follows, to wit. Item. I give devise and bequeath to my adopted daughter Annie, duly wedded wife of James Scott, my dwelling house, all my household furniture with Stable, out houses and land thereunto annexed. Two pieces of land on Heart’s Content road containing 3 acres 3 roods and 17 perches, another piece at Vitter’s Cove, also my waterside premises to have and to hold the same to her executors and assigns for ever. I do hereby nominate and appoint Mr. James Scott to be the Sole Executor of this my last Will and testiment. In testimony whereof, I, the said Charles Pittman have to this my last Will and Testiment, contained in one sheet of paper, subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 22nd day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty three, CHARLES PITTMAN. Signed, sealed and declared by the said Charles Pittman, as and for his last Will and Testiment in the presence of us, who at his request, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto. Witness:
