Will of Arthur Pittman In re
March 6/22 I, Arthur Pittman, of the town of Pilley’s Island, in the Island
of Newfoundland, being in sound ITEM. I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved mother, Eleanor Pittman, the sum of Three hundred and three dollars and fifty three cents, with interest ($303.53) that may accumulate at the Bank of Montreal, St. John’s, Bank Number 18072, together with my Insurance Policy of one thousand dollars. ($1000.00) held by me with the Confederation Life Association of Canada, No. 151.950. Dugald Munn, local agent at St. John’s, together with all moneys due me by the Dept of Militia, St. John’s, Newfoundland. ITEM. My personal belongings to be collected from Mrs. E Pike, Franklin Avenue, by my executor & forwarded to my mother, Pilley’s Isld. ITEM. My darling mother will act as she sees fit in the distribution of my other property, such as clothes, books and other things that I may have about me. ITEM. I do hereby nominate my friend & life comrade, James Butler,
