In re
Cornelius Pitcher.
DECEASED.
I Cornelius Pitcher of the Town of Grand Falls in the Colony of Newfoundland,
Paper mill Employee, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make
and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former
wills and testamentary dispositions heretofore at anytime by me made.
I hereby appoint the Reverend T Edgar Loder to be the Executor of my will.
I
hereby give devise and bequeath to my son Harold Pitcher the dwelling house
at Grand Falls station now occupied by me with all its furniture bedding and
other household articles, provided only that my wife Emily Pitcher shall have
the right to reside in and use the contents of said house for herself and her
two children Eliza Louisa Belle and Olga Jean so long as she remains a widow.
I hereby give, devise and bequeath the land in my name at Grand Falls Station
and the two dwellings thereon not aforementioned to my son Harold provided
only that all rents charged by him or moneys realized for sale thereof after
expenses have been deducted shall be shared in the following manner; one third
to my daughter Louisa Belle and one third to my daughter Olga Jean as long
as they are unmarried, should either of the daughters die before my son Harold then the net receipts shall be equally divided between him and the survivor.
Should Harold die while my daughters survive the disposal of all the aforementioned
property shall be controlled by my Executor for the benefit of surviving members
of my family at his discretion.
I hereby direct my Executor to pay all my just debts, funeral and testamentary
expenses as soon as possible after my decease.
I hereby direct my Executor to divide all money belonging to me at time of
my decease after aforesaid claims are settled in equal portion between my son
Harold and my two daughters aforementioned; My Executor to hold in trust the
shares of my daughters and to pay them fifteen dollars each per month until
the full amount due them has been paid.
I hereby give devise and bequeath the shop erected on my land to my son Harold with the proviso that after paying all expenses of the business connected therewith
and allowing himself a sum of fifty dollars per month he shall share the net
profits with my two daughters aforementioned in the proportion of one third
to each, payments to be made in February annually.
I hereby direct that wherever in this will the name of my son Harold occurs
full power is given to my Executor to control his estate should he at any time
be incapable through ill health of so doing.
Witness my hand this eleventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and twenty seven.

for his last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time,
who at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other have
hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution hereof. on
this the eleventh day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and twenty seven.
