Last Will and Testament of
George Pike of St. Lawrence
Fisherman deceased.

      In the name of God Amen. This is the last will and Testament of me George Pike, Gt. St. Lawrence in the electoral district of Burin, Newfoundland I hereby revoke all wills by me at any time heretofore made I appoint the minister of the Church of England in the mission of Burin my executor. I give devise and bequeath to my wife Sabine Pike all my property consisting of dwelling house with contents, stores, stage, boat, skiff, seine and two herring nets, and all land wheresoever situate, as also my share in two cod traps and two herring seines & one herring trap to be enjoyed by her during her natural life and after her death the said property as already enumerated is to revert to my daughter Catherine Pike if she survives her mother the said Sabine Pike. In witness whereof I the said George Pike have to this my last will and testament set my hand this seventh day of December one thousand eight hundred and ninety four (signed) George his x mark Pike. Signed by the Testator and acknowledged by him to be his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request, in his presence, and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses (signed) George Skeffington. Minnie Pike. John his x Pike
