Will of George Pike from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 576 probate year 1891 Last will and Testament In the name of God Amen. I George Pike of Hry Carbonear planter being of sound mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament, viz:- To my beloved wife Elizabeth I give and bequeath the dwelling house in which I reside together with the land in connection with the house also two outhouse viz stable and store also the live stock now in my possession after her death or if she shall change her name the above mentioned property I do give and bequeath to my son George. I do will and devise that piece of land bounded by George Pike on the north and church yard on the south to my son John. I also give and bequeath to my two sons Joseph and George to be equally divided that piece of land it is bounded by Frederick Pike on the west by school property on the east. I also give and bequeath to my son John two hundred and seven dollars and fifty cents. I also give to my son Joseph two hundred and seven dollars and fifty cents I also give to my son Joseph two hundred and seven dollars and fifty cents now in Union bank of St. John's Newfoundland. I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth three hundred dollars I also give to my son George three hundred and seven dollars and twenty three cents; that money is in Savings Bank St. John's Newfld. All my carpentering tools I give to my son George. George his x mark Pike Registrar
