Will of David Pike In re Last Will and Testament Know all men by these present Greeting That I David Pike of St Lawrence in the District of Burin and Island of Newfoundland Being of sound mind and memory declare this to be my last Will and Testament I hereby appoint my daughter Charlotte Clouston nee Pike to
be my executor to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses and
deal with this my last will and testament as embodied in this Will and
I hereby revoke any, and every other document previously made My property consists Meadow land or garden with a dwelling thereon Also
foreshore, or sea-side property This property I disposed off
in the following manner viz all the property enumerated above, (with
the exception of the dwelling house) which I give and bequeath to my
daughter Charlotte Clouston. In nineteen hundred and twenty three I bargained
and sold the aforesaid land, (and conditioned) for the sum of Five hundred
dollars, to William J Parsons Planter at St Lawrence,
the aforesaid sum of $500.00/100 to be paid in three years from date
of sale or a shorter period if possible and for which I am giving a Bill
of Sale on those terms In the event of my death before the expiration
of the beforementioned agreement the purchase price of this property
to be paid to my executor, who also hold a legal power of Attorney from
me.
