Will of Anne Elizabeth Phillipps
from Newfoundland will books volume 13 pages 376-377 probate year 1926
The surname is spelled Phillipps and Phillips in this will.

In re
      ANNE ELIZABETH PHILLIPPS.     DECEASED.

This is the last will and testament of me Anne Elizabeth Phillipps Widow, of the City of Toronto in the County of York and Province of Ontario.

First: I give devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate of whatsoever kind and wheresoever situated to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease unto and to the use of my beloved and adopted daughter Annie Fraser Baker her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns absolutely according to the nature and tenure thereof.

Second: And I appoint my beloved adopted daughter the said Annie Fraser Baker sole executrix of this my will hereby revoking all other testamentary writing made by me at any time heretofore.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty four.

ANNE ELIZABETH PHILLIPS.

Signed, sealed and declared by the said testator Anne Elizabeth Phillipps as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at her request in her sight and presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as attesting witnesses.

M. J. Newman.     S. J. Baker.

This is a Codicil to my last Will and testament bearing date the 6th day of October 1924, I find from reading over my said Will that I have erroneously described my sole beneficiary ANNIE FRASER BAKER as my adopted daughter, whereas she is in fact and should be described as the adopted daughter of my sister Emily P. Mayne Newman.

In all other respects I confirm my said Will.

In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 6th day of November.

ANNE E. PHILLIPPS.

Signed, Published and Declared by the above named testatrix as and for a codicil to her last will and testament bearing date the 6th day of October 1924, in the presence of us both present at the same time, who, at her request and in her presence, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. Mildred Aldrich.    S.J. Baker.
