Will of Timothy Phelan Last will and Testament of This is the last will and Testament of me Timothy Phelan of St. John’s general dealer. I will devise and bequeath to my wife Margaret Phelan all my real and personal property goods debts chattels and effects and everything of which I may die possessed or entitled for and during the term of her natural life, and after her death I will devise and bequeath the same to my my four daughters Margaret Katie, Mary and Norah share and share alike; And in the event of the death of either of my said beforementioned daughters I bequeath the share of such deceased daughter to the survivor or survivors. I appoint Thomas O’Neil Sr. and Thomas O’Neil Jr the Executors of this my last will revoking all former wills made by me. Dated at St. John’s this 28th day of October A.D. 1892. (Sgd) Timothy Phelan Signed published and declared by the Testator as and for his last will and Testament in my our presence, who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution of the same the day and year of the date thereof.
