Will of Ellen Petley In re I Elen Petley of Dildo in the Island of Newfoundland being of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say. I give devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate to which I shall or may be entitled at the time of my decease, to my beloved father John Reid of Green’s Harbor Trinity Bay absolutely, with the understanding that he is to become the guardian of my two children Elizabeth Petley and Mable Petley and send them to St. John’s as soon as convenient to be educated at the Methodist College, and I appoint him sole executor of this my last will hereby revoking all testamentary writing. I the said Elen Petley have hereunder set my hand to this my last will this twenty-fifth day of April Ano Domini nineteen Hundred and ten Elen x Petley Signed by the above named as her last will in the presence of both being present at the same time who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have herewith subscribed our names as witness witness Moses Parsons Emma Moore Certified correct, (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
