Last will and Testament
of William Penny
of English Harbor Fisherman Deceased.

This last will and Testament of me William Penny made this twenty sixth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty four. I will & bequeath to my son Peter Penny my part of the stage & room & my part of the store house on the beach (that is one fourth of the stage and half of the store house) also one cow, & my dwelling house & land I leave to him, but he is to look to his mother & sister Hannah while he lives and I leave to him one hundred pounds currency & a pew in the church at English Har. Also I leave one hundred pounds currency to my wife Mrs. Matilda Penny. And to my daughter Hannah Penny I leave one hundred pounds currency & a pew in the church at English Harbor And I leave to my three daughters Mary, Sarah & Mary Ann the sum of five pounds currency to each of them and I leave to my grandchild William Batson son of Richard & Mary Batson a small gun.
