Will of Agnes Pearce from Newfoundland will books volume 5 pages 30-31 probate year 1886 Last Will and Testament of Agnes Pearce This is the last will and Testament of me Agnes Ward widow of the late Abraham Ackerman Pearce Clerk of the court at Twillingate Notre Dame Bay Newfoundland. I give devise and bequeath half of whatever money I have or may possess vizt. about forty pounds current money of Newfoundland and the balance due me in the hands of the Executors of my late husbands will to my brother Benjamin Ward of Fair Island (or Fae Island) Greenspond and the other half of what money I have or may possess I give devise and bequeath to Mary Cooke of Twillingate (my niece) for her absolute use and benefit. 2nd I give devise and bequeath to my grand niece Silvia Jessie Cooke of Twillingate my silver watch and also my writing desk. 3rd I give devise and bequeath to Sarah Bartlett Taylor of Twillingate my gold chain for her absolute use and benefit. 4th I give devise and bequeath all my goods chattels and wearing apparel not hereinbefore mentioned in this my will to my niece Mary Cooke of Twillingate for her own use and benefit. And I appoint Sarah Bartlett Taylor of Twillingate to be
sole executrix of this my will.
