Sarah Richards

1772 Prerogative Court of Canterbury
will of Sarah Richards, widow of the City of Bristol, England.
Made 15 January 1772, proved 23 April 1772.
(Ref: The National Archives, PROB 11/977/60)

In this will she mentions her 4 Richards children: Simon with his daughter Sarah; Sarah; John (mariner); Elizabeth. (Simon later moved with Spitalfields in London where he became a basket-maker.) Sarah leaves 'All my estates Lands Tenements Stock and Hereditaments in Newfound Land or elsewhere in America' to her executors eventually to be sold for the benefit of her children.

The witnesses were Benjamin Ramzor (cooper of Bristol) and Aminabal Randall (also cooper of Bristol).  These are very uncommon names in England. Executors John Barnstaple and Stephen Lowe.
