year 1928
In re DECEASED.
JESSE PAYNE.
A. Form of Will.
I Jesse his x mark Payne of sound mind and memory do on this 6th day of January
1926 do hereby make my last will and testament in the presence of the undersigned.
(1) I bequeath and give to my daughter Pearl Hutchings the sum of one hundred
dollars $100.00 and sewing machine.
(2) I give and bequeath to my son John Payne the sum of one hundred and fifty
dollars $150.00 also the house and land on the Winter house side and my furniture
etc, the rest of my money that is left.
(3) my daughter Myrtle is to get one hundred dollars $100.00 and John is to
see that she gets cared for as long as she remains single.
(4) I give to my brother Grant one gun, and John is to see that the gun is
bought.
