Will of John Patrick from Newfoundland will books volume 5 pages 122-123 probate year 1887 Last will and Testament of John This is the last will and testament of me John Patrick of Victoria Street St. John's Newfoundland. I hereby give and bequeath all my worldly property of which I may be possessed or to which I may be entitled at the time of my death to my beloved wife Catherine during the term of her natural life and I desire her to employ the income derived from it for her own support and for the support of my daughter should she remain unmarried At the death of my wife I hereby direct that the whole of my worldly possessions which may then remain shall be given to my daughter Elizabeth and that she shall be the sole heir and possessor of these to use and dispose of them as she may think fit. My property at present consists of the following my present dwelling house and my interest in another house in Victoria Street my household furniture utensils for household use clothing &c together with a small sum of money in the Bank. I also hereby appoint Mr. Thomas M. Connan and W. David Baird as my executors Signed by me as my last will and testament at St. John's Newfld on the 4th day of December in the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty six. John his x mark Patrick. Signed in presence of the following witnesses. M. Harvey. George Hiscock. I certify that the foregoing is a correct copy.
