Last Will and Testament of
George Parsons of Carbonear
Planter deceased.

      In the name of God Amen I George Persons Snr of Clowns Cove Planter through the mercies of God being of a sound mind and memory altho weak in my body do make this my last Will and Testament and revoking all other wills and deeds and require all concerned to receive it as such. That is to say I give and bequeath to my son Orestes Parsons all my right and title in & to the house now occupied by me with all the furniture beds and beding and all cooking utensils with chairs and tables and all which I now occupy with all the waterside premises cabbage garden and out houses now in my possession with all my fishing gear & boat and the field back which I now occupy Also the water side premises that is to say that part on which I build my stage for the prosecution of the fishery my grandson George Parsons of Alexander to have the use for carrying on his fishery only for his use in prosecuting his fishery
What money thats in my house or elsewhere I leave to my beloved wife Susanna Parsons. I give and bequeath to my grandson George Parsons of Alexander the house which was occupied by my son Alexander Also that portion of land back of my own dwelling house that is to say that part of my land which was occupied by my son Alexander for the sole use and benefit of my grandson George Parsons And the remainder of the back land for the sole use of my son Orestes Parsons if so be my wife Susannah should survive me she is to have full control over all during her natural life. After her death then this deed will be granted to the parties concerned. I appoint my two esteemed friends to carry this deed into effect.
