Mary Pudner

 

To Wit
Bonavista
Personally appeared before me Gerard Ford one of his Majestys Justice of the Peace for this district. Thos Gaylor ( Sen) ship master of Poole but now residing in Bonavista in the island of Newfd North America and Robert Brown of Bonavista in the island of Newfd North America. The two subscribing witnesses to the due execution of the last will and testament of Mary Pudner of Trinity deceased who being sworn upon the Holy Evanglist of Almighty God to report the truth maketh oath and saith that they was present and did see the within named Mary Pudner sign publish and declare the within testament to be as and for the last last will and testament of her the said late Mary Pudner deceased and that the hand writing of Mary Pudner ???? and subscribed to the said will is the proper hand writing of her the said Mary Pudner in the presence of Thos Gaylor & Robt Brown the subscribers witnessed to the said will and there ??? further saith that the was distinctly read over and explained to her the said Mary Pudner previous to her signing her name to or execution of the said will and also that she the said Mary Pudner at the time of writing her name and executing therefore the said will appeared to the informents of a sound mind memory and understanding and lastly these informents saith the signature of Thos Gaylor (Sen) and Robt Brown as witness to the due execution of the said will is then ??? handwriting who in the presense of said testators and in the presence of each other did subscribe their names to the said will as witness our hands.
