Last Will of George MARLEY, Bay of Islands
Made on the 22nd Day of May A.D. 1900
Testament of
George MARLEY of Bay of Islands, fisherman. This is the last
Will and Testament of one George Marley of Bay of Islands.

First: I appoint my Son Levi Marley and Allen
Bartlett Executors of this
my last will. And I declare that the words my executors herein used shall
comprise the persons aforesaid, and the suvivors of them, and the Executors
and Administrators of such Survivors or other the Executors or Executor
for the time being of this my will.

Second: I give and bequeath and devise my estate as follows. That
is to say I give to my son Levi Marley all my Land and
Property, situated at Child's Point, comprising of about four or five acres
of Land with Dwelling house, Barn, and Store thereupon, and bounded as
follows, on the West by John
Perretts Land on the North by the Seashore on the East by Isaac
Marleys property
and on the south by the Public Main Road.

Third: I give and Bequeath to my son Williams Widow, that Parcel
and lot of land Land with Dwelling house thereon now under fence, and occupied
by my son William Marley previous to his Death and now
occupied by his Widow. Situate in the Southwest Corner of the Property
described to be my Son Levi
Marleys.

Fourth: Should my Son Williams Widow Susanah Marley leave
the aforesaid described lot or Parcel of Land and go elsewhere to reside,
She is to Sell or hand over to my Son Levi Marley or to
one of his sons the said lot or Parcel of Land for a consideration to be
decided upon by my said Executors.

Fifth: In consideration of this my Will and Bequest to my Son Levi
Marley of my Land and Property, I am to receive a comfortable Support and Residence
in my Son Levi Marleys dwelling and to be regarded as a member of his own
family. And at my Death to receive a decent Christian Burial. And I hereby
revoke all other wills and declare this writing to be my last Will and Testament.
In Witness Whereof I hereunto set my hand this twenty Second day of May in
the Year of our Lord one Thousand nine hundred.
Signed by the Said George (his X) Marley.
The Testator in the presence of us present at the time who in his presence
and in the presence of each other Subscribed our names as Witnesses to this
paper and writing.
