Transaction: Sale of Fishing Room PRICE: Three pounds, ten shillings currency DATE: Oct. 12, 1867 at Bonavista Description: Patrick agrees to sell a fishing room formally in the possession of William and John Burton situated and lying at Spillers Cove, Trinity Bay east and bounded on the east by the water, on the south by Maurice Flemming's premises, on the west by Maurice Flemming's garden and on the north by a brook. WITNESS: Samuel Rowsell FURTHER: NFLD St. John's to wit: I, James Ryan of Bonavista, but at present of St. John's, merchant, make oath and say that Patrick Kough died many years ago and that Samuel Rowsell of the said deed is also dead. And I further make oath that I am familiar with the handwriting of the said Samuel Rowsell and have frequently seen him write and the signature on the deed is his. Sworn before the register in St. John's Oct. 28, 1905.
