Know all men by these presents that I Mrs. June Thompson of Coleys' Point South district of Port de Grave, Province of Newfoundland, for and in consideration of the sum of Four thousand dollars ($4000) to me paid by Mr. Wilfred Petton of Hibbs Cove, Port de Grave district of Port de Grave, Province of Newfoundland
     The receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained, sold, and delivered and by these present do bargain, sell and deliver unto the said Mr. Wilfred Petton all that piece or parcel of land together with dwelling house and outhouses situate at Coleys' Point and bounded as follows:
On the East by the main Road 80 feet.
On the South East by the property of Henry H. Martin 147 feet.
On the South by the Local Road 142 ft.
On the West by the property of Mr. George H. Rowsell 245 feet and on the North by the property of Steward Parsons 249 ft. to the place of commencement and containing more or less.
     To have and to hold the aforesaid bargained property unto the said Mr. Wilfred Petton his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever.
     And I the said Mrs. June Thompson for myself my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns shall and will warrant and defend the same against all persons unto
