Will of Patrick F. O'Reilly
from Newfoundland will books volume 9 pages 333-334 probate year 1911

In re
      Patrick F. O'Reilly         deceased.

      In the name of God, Amen    I Patrick F. O’Reilly of Placentia, Newfoundland, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last will and Testament, in manner following, that is to say:
1st. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
2nd I give and bequeath to my brother, William F. O’Reilly of Placentia, Newfoundland, a certain Life Insurance Policy for $1000 in the Manufacturers Life Insurance Company of Canada, and a certain policy for $1000 in the Imperial Life Insurance Company of Canada.    Also all my interest in and to the dry goods, provisions, groceries and other personal property, together with all book accounts of the business now being run by me and known as the Star Store at Placentia Newfoundland.
3rd. I give and devise to my brother, William F. O’Reilly of Placentia, Newfoundland all that certain real estate, together with the buildings thereon known as the Star Store in Placentia, Newfoundland.
4. I give, bequeath and devise all the rest, residue and remainder of my personal property and real estate to my two brothers, Rev. John A. O’Reilly and William F. O’Reilly, the same to be divided equally between them share and share alike
5th. I give and empower my executors hereinafter named to sell and dispose of my and all real estate and personal property of which I may die seized, and to give to the purchaser or purchasers thereof a good and sufficient title to the same.
Lastly. I hereby appoint my brother, William F. O’Reilly of Placentia Newfoundland, and Rev. Monsignor Roche Vicar General of St. John’s, Newfoundland, executors of this my last will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made    In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name the 21st day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven. Patrick F. O’Reilly    We, whose names are hereto subscribed, Do certify, that on the 21st day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven Patrick F O’Reilly    We, whose names are hereto subscribed. Do Certify, that on the 21st day of June, 1911.    Patrick F O’Reilly, the testator subscribed his name to this instrument in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and at the same time, in our presence and hearing, declared the same to be his last will and Testament, and requested us, and each of us, to sign our names thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof, which we hereby do in the presence of the testator and of each other, on the said date, and write opposite our names our respective places of residence.
