Last will and Testament of
John O’Regan of St. John’s
Butcher deceased

      This is the last will and Testament of me John O’Regan of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Butcher I do hereby give devise and bequeath all the property estate and effects of which I may die possessed unto my beloved wife Catherine O’Regan absolutely and for ever I do hereby revoke and annul all former and other wills by me at any time made and declare this to be my last will and testament I hereby appoint my beloved wife aforesaid Catherine O’Regan the sole Executrix of this my will. In witness whereof I John O’Regan the above mentioned testator have hereunto my hand subscribed at St. John’s aforesaid this fourth day of April Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and ninety six. (Sgd) John his X mark O’Regan. Signed by making his mark hereto published and declared by the said testator John O’Regan as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other all being present at the same time have hereunto subscribed ourselves as witnesses the same having been first read over and explained to the said Testator John O’Regan in our presence and approved of by him.
