Will of Lawrence O’Neil In re In the name of God. Amen. This is the last will and testament of me Lawrence O’Neil, of Topsail Road, in the district of Saint John’s West, farmer. 1. It is my will and desire that my executrix hereinafter named shall first pay all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses. 2 I will, devise, and bequeath unto my dear wife, Mary, all my farm, lands, dwelling house, outhouses, horses, cattle, farming stock, and utensils, goods, chattels, and effects of every description whatsoever together with all moneys that I may die possessed of for her sole use, support, and maintenance and for the support and maintenance of my children, as she shall decide upon and direct, with this condition attaching, that if my said wife Mary should at any time marry again, the same shall be free and clear of any right in or control of any such husband. 3 It is also my will and desire that the eastern boundary of my farm land, between myself and my brother Peter, shall be defined according to the lines and boundaries laid down in my father’s will. 4. It is also my will and desire that should my daughter Bridget at any time wish to leave this country, or to get married and leave the home of her mother, that my said wife is to pay my said daughter Bridget the sum of fifty dollars. 5. I hereby appoint my said wife, Mary, the sole executrix of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other and former wills that may have been made by me. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto my hand set and subscribed at Topsail Road aforesaid, this 8th day of march A.D. 1907. Laurence his X mark O’Neil signed by the said testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who in his presence, at his request, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
