Last will and testament
of Alice Nowlan
of Brigus Spinster Deceased.

I Alice Nowlan of Brigus in Conception Bay Newfoundland do make publish and declare this as and for my last will and testament. First I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses shall be paid. Second I give devise and bequeath my whole and entire estate property and effects whatsoever lands houses chattels goods and all monies invested or otherwise or due to me or any security or account whatsoever to my brother Patrick Nowlan Third I do hereby nominate and appoint my brother Patrick Nowlan of Brigus and Revd Edward F. Walsh Parish Priest of Brigus as executors of this my will And lastly I do hereby revoke annul and declare void all former and other wills by me made. Witness my hand at Brigus this first day of May Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and ninety one. Alice her x mark Nowlan. The above instrument or deed having been read to Alice Nowlan the testatrix she signed the same by her mark as and for her last will and testament in our presence who in her presence and at her request and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names as witnesses on the day and year and at the place above mentioned witness Edward F. Walsh John Lamb.
