Will of Absalom Noseworthy
from Newfoundland will books volume 13 pages 57-58 probate year 1925

In re
      ABSALOM NOSEWORTHY.     DECEASED.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT.

I, Absalom Noseworthy, of Curling, Bay of Islands, in the Electoral District of St. George, Island of Newfoundland, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make my last will and testament in manner and form following:

First. I give and bequeath to my daughter, Eva Blanche, her heirs and assigns, forever, all that piece or parcel of land situated at Curling aforesaid and bounded on the South by the Main Road from Curling to Petrie’s and land deeded to Andrew L. Barrett, on the West by land deeded to Andrew L. Barrett and Roman Catholic Church property, on the North by the Railway, and on the East by Church of England Synod Land, with all thereon of what nature and kind soever, including my dwelling house, barn, cellar, and all and any other erections.

Second. I give and bequeath to my son, William, during his life time, that piece or parcel of land known as the Lower Field and bounded on the East by Church of England Synod Land, on the South by the Railway, on the West by Roman Catholic Church property, and on the North by the waters of the Humber Arm, and situated at Curling; and at his decease the said piece or parcel of land to go to my daughter, Eva Blanche, her heirs and assigns, forever.

Third. I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter, Eva Blanche, her heirs and assigns, forever, all the residue of my estate and property, real, personal, and mixed, of what nature and kind soever and whatsoever, and wheresoever, at the time of my death.

Fourth. I hereby appoint Ulric N. Bagg and Andrew L. Barrett executors of this my last will and testament.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I, Absalom Noseworthy, the testator, have to this, my last will and testament, set my hand and seal, this ninth day of June, A.D. 1922.     ABSALOM NOSEWORTHY.

Signed, Sealed, Published and declared by the above named Absalom Noseworthy, as and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us, who have hereunto subscribed our names at his request, as witnesses thereto, in the presence of the said testator, and of each other.
