Will of Thomas Noble from Newfoundland will books volume 14 pages 242-243 probate year 1928

In re       DECEASED.
THOMAS NOBLE.

MY LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT.

I Thomas Noble of England and now resident at Manuels N.F. Land do make publish and declare this as my last will and testament.

1st. I will and direct that all my just debts, funeral, and testamentary expenses be paid.

2nd. That my son in law William Russell of Matane province of Quebec be paid the sum of $2550. for monies received in quarterly instalments of $125. to date and, all other instalments to date of my death, particulars of which if not entered in my will he will furnish.

3rd. That a monument in all respects similar to the one now erected in Topsail Cemetery "except in lettering" to the memory of my departed wife, be erected to my memory order for which I have placed with the Muir Marble Works Co Ltd., they to erect the monument on foundation now laid. The lettering to be, In memory of Thomas Noble of Cumberland England       Died       Date Month year age, and the lettering at base of monument to be the first verse of Hymn No 184 in the ancient and modern book       Rock of Ages.

4th. That Fair Haven, my estate at Manuels, and all contained therein or thereon, land, dwelling, house, furniture, and all other buildings I give to my daughter Jessie Ethel Noble, now Mrs Henry Petley.

5th. The residue of my estate, real or personal, is to be equally divided between my daughter named above and my daughter Francis Eleanor Noble, now Mrs Wm Russell of Matane Province of Quebec or their heirs.

6th. I hereby nominate and appoint The Eastern Trust Company and my daughter Mrs Henry Petley as Executors of this my last will and testament.

By this Codicil to my "will" I declare that should Miss Minnie Huson be in my service, she is in addition to any money due her for services rendered, be presented with the sum of One Hundred dollars $100.00 as a slight token of my esteem for her.
