Know all men by these Presents That I Nathaniel Nichols (laborurer) of Bannerman Lake Harbour Grace Newfoundland being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ann Crocker all of my properity at Bannerman Lake also the land known as Verger's land.
In witness whereof I the said Nathaniel Nichols set my hand and seal hereunto this 4^th day of January 1930.

Signed sealed and declared by the said Nathaniel Nicholas as and for his last will and testament in presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other and at his request have hereunto subscribed our hand as witnesses.
