Will of Richard Neyle In re This is the last will and Testament
of me Richard Neyle of St. John’s Nfld. I give and bequeath to my
dear Daughter Maud Hall Neyle my Dwelling house, and all its contents,
with the land on which it is built. Also the land on which the adjoining
house is built, leased to the Trustees of the Gower St. Church at $50.
per annum. Also all my Government Debentures and my shares in the Boot & Shoe
Factory - My Daughter Maud is to pay Mrs. Isabel
Byron Stacy who has a
life interest in the property the sum of £19. Sterling per annum
as long as she lives. Should my Daughter marry the Government debentures
and my shares in the Boot & Shoe Factory and the yearly rental of the
land leased to the Trustees of Gower St. Church shall be given divided
equally and jointly to my surviving daughters share and share alike. And
in the event of her death the house and the contents also the Government
debentures and the rent of the lands $50. per annum. Also the Boot & Shoe
stock to be given equally and jointly to my surviving daughters bearing
in mind that Mrs. Stacy’s life interest is to be paid, up to the
time of her death. In consequence of the death of my son in law Mr. Robt C. Smith and the removal from the colony of my son in law Edwin Murray when I appointed my executors Feby 25. 1914 I hereby appoint my son in law John Hill as my executor to act in conjunction with my Daughter Maud Hall Neyle. I give and bequeath to my Grand son Edwin Neyle Murray my gold watch & chain Given under my hand this 13th day April 1915 (Sgd) Richd. Neyle. Correct, (Listed in the margin of this will)
