Last Will and Testament of
Peter Neville of St. John's
Farmer deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me Peter Neville of St. John's Farmer To my Executors hereinafter named I will and bequeath all the land dwelling house outhouses held by me together with all my farming stock and utensils household furniture and other chattels (except as hereinafter reserved) to have and to hold the same for the use and benefit support and maintenance of my wife and my son James during the lifetime of my wife and on her demise said lands chattels and effects shall go to and become the absolute property of my said son.
I will and direct that my daughter Bridget shall remain with my wife and said son in my dwelling house so long as she remains unmarried and no longer the costs of her support I impose as a rent charge on said lands and chattels, but all such claim shall cease on her marriage. I will and bequeath to my said daughter Bridget all that field containing about four acres and situate on the north side of the Topsail Road adjoining the school house I also will and bequeath to her that piece of land near my dwelling house and forming an angle at the junction of the Cock Pit and Topsail roads and containing about one half an acre.
All that farm of land near Cowens on the Topsail Road containing about ninety acres more or less I bequeath to my said son James. I appoint my nephews Peter Neville and Thomas Neville Executors hereof. Dated this 5^th day of May A.D. 1879. (Sgd) Peter his X mark Neville. Witnesses (sgd) J. I. Little. (Sgd) Jas. J. Murphy.
