Last will and Testament
of Patrick Murphy late
of Placentia, Deceased
.

This is the last will and Testament of me Patrick Murphy of Placentia. I revoke all former wills and codicils by me at any time heretofore made. I give devise and bequeath my land and property at Coopers' Cove together with the houses and erections thereon situate on the north side of the road leading from the Main Road down to Coopers Cove afsd to my son Francis in trust for his daughter Margaret till she shall attain the age of twenty one years then to be transferred to her absolutely. I give devise and bequeath my land and property at Coopers Cove afsd. together with the houses and erections thereon situate on the south side of the said road leading from the Main Road to Cooper's Cove to my son William for his sole use and behoof. I give and bequeath my schooner to my son Francis for his sole use and behoof. It is my desire that my land and property together with the houses and erections thereon situate at Marques, Little Placentia on which I assigned to James Eraus in trust for John Francis Murphy and Patrick Matthew Murphy children of my son Patrick be transferred to Thomas O'Rielly of Placentia J.P. in trust for the said John Francis Murphy and Patrick Matthew Murphy the said children of my said son Patrick. And I appoint Michael Eraus of Placentia Executor of this my last will and Testament Dated at Placentia aforesaid this 16th day of January A.D. 1889 Patrick his x mark Murphy (L.S.) Signed Sealed and Delivered by the said Testator as and for his last will and Testament in presence of us who in his presence at his request and in presence of each other have subscribed ourselves as witnesses hereto.
