Will of James Murphy from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 139 probate year 1927 In re This is the last will and Testament of me James Murphy of Saint John's in the Island of Newfoundland Planter. It is my will and desire that all funeral and testamentary expenses shall be first paid out of my estate. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary wife of Henry Garland of Harbour Grace the sum of one hundred dollars. I give and bequeath unto my two sons Edward and Denis all my right title and interest in and to the land and premises occupied by me situate on the east side of Pleasant Street in the Town of Saint John's aforesaid and all my interest in any land and premises situate on Pleasant Street aforesaid which I hold jointly or otherwise with my said two sons Edward and Denis, or with their wives, share and share alike. The residue of my estate I give and bequeath to my said two sons Edward and Denis share and share alike. I appoint Charles H. Emerson of Saint John's Solicitor to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In
