Will of Ellen Mullowney from Newfoundland will books volume 5 pages 245-246 probate year 1888 Last will and Testament of This is the last will and testament of me Ellen Mullowney of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland widow. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ellen Mullowney all the Union Bank shares which I may be possessed of at the time of my death for her separate use free from the debts control or interference of any husband. It is my wish that my niece Ellen Ryan is to be supported as long as she lives in my house and in the event of her marrying with the approval of my executors she is to receive one hundred pounds. I bequeath unto my daughter Anastasia Maria Alexander all the residue of my estate and effects of whatever description and wherever situate for her separate use free from the debts control or interference of her present or any future husband. In the event of my said daughter Anastasia Maria departing this life without leaving issue by her marriage all the property hereby bequeathed to her is to revert to my said daughter Ellen Mullowney. I appoint my friend William P. Walsh of st. John's aforesaid executor and my said daughter Ellen executrix of this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand this 21st day of March A.D. 1883 Ellen Mullowney.
