Will of William Morrissey, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 380 probate year 1931 IN RE. DECEASED William Morrissey. In the name of God Amen. I William Morrissey of Holyrood in the Dist Harbor Main being in perfect mind and memory and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I give my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I commend to the Earth to be buried in decent christian burial at the discretion of my Executor nothing doubt in but at the General resurrection I shall receive the same as to my worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I dispose of the same in the following manner and form, all my land and houses I give to my daughter Agnes and her husband Edward Maloney to my wife Susan Morrissey I give one head of cattle and a room in the house for her own use until the time of her death Edward Maloney shall support my wife and look after her while she live, I give to my son John the sum of 25 cents I also appoint Wm P. Walsh as my executor, Signed Sealed and delivered by the said William Morrissey as his last will and testament in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses in the year one thousand nine hundred and twenty three.
