Will of John Morrissey from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 322 probate year 1888. Last will and Testament This is the last will and Testament of me John Morrissey made this 3rd day of September 1875.- As follows. - I give devise and bequeath all my messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments and all my household furniture, ready money, securities for money goods and chattels and all other of my own personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto my dear wife viz Ellen Morrisey to and for her own absolute use and benefit according to the nature and quality thereof, and therefore respectively subject only to the payment of my just debts, funeral, and testamentary expenses and I appoint in witness whereof for my executors, viz Mr. Edward Davey and Mr. Thomas Corbett. It is here agreed that my wife Ellen Morrisey is to have all my Fishing Room that my brother Bernard Morrisey is to have a suit of clothes and Daniel Morrisey my brother is to have a suit of clothes also, and that my wife Ellen Morrisey is to have my watch and also my furniture, and all my money, and my bed and bedding. Dated 26th Feb A.D. 1888
