Last will and Testament of
Margaret Morris of Trinity N.D.
widow deceased

      This the last will and Testament of me Margaret Morris of Trinity, Trinity Bay, in the Island of Newfoundland widow, being of sound mind which I thus publish and declare as follows. I do hereby give and bequeath to my friend Stephen Eagen my land and the dwelling house thereon situate between property belonging to James Gent on the North side, and by property belonging to the Roman Catholic Church on the south west side in the Town of Trinity aforesaid with all rights and privileges belonging to the same for his sole use and benefit
Also to my brother Peter Halerhan all my household furniture beds and bedding and to Michael John Halerhan son of Richard Halerhan two ornamental dogs and one globe. And I do hereby appoint John Hoskins to be sole Executor to this my last will and testament. Dated at Trinity this Fifteenth day of March one thousand eight hundred and ninety eight. (Sgd) Margaret her X mark Morris. Signed acknowledged and declared by the said Margaret Morris as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us, who being present at the same time in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. (Sgd) John Hoskins. (Sgd) Robert White.
We hereby certify that the above will was read over and explained to Testatrix in the presence of each subscribing witness, at the time of her making her mark thereto. (Sgd) John Hoskins. (Sgd) Robert White

      I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of Margaret Morris deceased
