Last Will and Testament of
John Morris Senr. of Trinity
Planter deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me John Morris Senr of Cuckold's Cove Trinity Bay in the Island of Newfoundland, Planter, which I do make publish and declare: being of sound mind and disposing memory, hereby revoking all other wills by me made. I do now give and bequeath all lands by me now occupied together with all and every part of the land and premises occupied recently by my late son Joseph Morris unto his widow Charlotte Morris and also my fishing room, dwelling house, outhouses, store-house etc and also all my household furniture, beds bedding etc etc etc earthenware, tools and utensils together with all craft and fishing tackle: reserving only the bed, bedding and furniture of the sleeping room which I with my wife Mary Morris now occupy, but all other goods, chattels, lands, houses, stores and premises of every kind and description shall revert to and become the property of my aforesaid daughter in law Charlotte Morris for her own sole use and benefit for ever.
And I do hereby order name and appoint Joseph Morris of Trinity and Charlotte Morris aforesaid joint executors to this my last will and Testament. (Sgd) John his X mark Morris Signed acknowledged and declared by the said John Morris as and for his last will and testament this fifth day of August 1890 in the presence of us who being present at the same time in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the same having been first read over and explained.
